Health and Wellness Programs at Central Virginia YMCA


Rather than telling you what to eat and when to eat, we help you build the skills and daily habits required to eat well, every day, no matter what life throws at you. In this program, individuals will learn how to eat on your own terms while establishing healthy habits. You will work with a certified Precision Nutrition Coach who will monitor consistency, compliance and provide accountability and support.

Nutritional Habit Coaching - A holistic lifestyle approach to truly healthy living. Our program is based on educating you on good nutrition and daily habits with a focus on lifestyle change and learning while doing. Habits will be built through weekly lessons followed up with wellness and lifestyle checks by a Certified Nutrition Coach. In addition, there will be monthly progress checks. We will learn and practice daily to build healthy habits and use these new skills to achieve your goals. Full access to your coach, via email, to ask questions in regards to your diet will be provided.

Macro Coaching - This program is designed for graduates of Phase 1 AND for those individuals with consistent exercise habits and advanced nutritional awareness looking to seek guidance and accountability in their nutritional programming. You will be provided an individualized macro-nutrient profile, custom designed to achieve optimal results based on body compositional analysis, daily caloric needs, activity level and goals. Your progress will be closely monitored and adjusted weekly by a Certified Nutrition Coach.
